I’m barely in the target demographic.
Yesterday was the first time I used SnapFit end to end. I went to the park with a friend, took a photo of the playground, received a workout, modified the workout to “be harder”, and then completed the entire workout. It was surprisingly effective and gave me a lot of conviction that SnapFit works.
This scenario only happens to me once every couple of weeks. Any product that is solving a problem that is this infrequent is going to struggle.
So who’s the target demographic?
Someone who doesn’t have a PT, is already motivated to workout, has worked out before and failed to be consistent, and knows at least the very basics when it comes to exercises. Someone whose environment frequently changes. Week-to-week or month-to-month.
That’s the hypothesis. It’s vague and I need something more tangible.
Someone who goes on holidays frequently, even on small road trips, or the business/sales person that has to travel for work.
That’s a bit better and will help me find the right communities to join and initially market to.
These people need to solve the “I don’t know what to do” mindset.
I wonder if there are communities that orient around this mindset. Like a subreddit for people asking “what should I do with this space”, “what do you do in the gym” or “where do you get your workouts”.
